Not to mention its artistic value, Ronciglione consists of a characteristic medieval village and a part that developed between the '500 and '700 with wide streets lined with noble palaces. The Castello della Rovere, also called "The Towers", is a early Middle Ages building, linked to the function of defending the village. The castle belonged to the Prefects of Vico, Anguillara, Della Rovere and finally to the Farnese.
Figuratively interesting the Fountain of Unicorns (1581), attributed by some to Vignola, according to other masterpiece of Antonio Gentile da Faenza. Important to the ancient church of St. Mary of Providence, dating back to the XI-XII century, within the same with a nave, there is a Christ blessing with cherubs and angels of 1400. The Cathedral of Ronciglione baroque style, built to a design by Pietro da Cortona, preserved inside the triptych of SS. Savior, by Gabriele Francesco da Viterbo (second half of the fifteenth century) and other interesting works. There are in the village the remains of the church of St. Andrea consist of columns, capitals and the bell tower erected by Galasso from Como in 1463.
